Cheesey Garlic Bread

1 crusty loaf

1 large mozzarella ball

100g butter

2 large garlic cloves, crushed

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped



  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Combine the butter, garlic and salt in a heatproof bowl and melt in the microwave. Stir through the chopped parsley
  3. Cut the bread on the diagonal into 2cm diamonds, taking care not to cut through the bottom of the loaf to ensure that you retain the shape of the loaf
  4. Using a knife, pry open each cut and drizzle a teaspoon of the butter and a pinch of cheese into each space. Once complete, drizzle any remaining butter over the top of the loaf
  5. Wrap in foil and bake in the oven for around 20 minutes until the cheese has melted, then unwrap and bake for another 5-10 minutes to give a good brown crust
